Refund policy

We have a 24 hours day return policy, which means you have 24 hour after receiving your item to request a return. Product must be sealed.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, sealed, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at rainbow.root.teas@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, credited or refunded like perishable goods (such as Seamoss gels, mylks, food or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). All PERISHABLE are final sales. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

Ocean salt, ocean smell and ocean taste does not make it defective. SEAMOSS Gels (PERISHABLE ITEMS) are non-refundable. If the item is not stored in proper temperature the gel will get damaged. If your gel is getting molded you may want to check your refrigerating temperature and making sure it’s in a STEADY temperature.

Seamoss Gel - Shelf life of Seamoss gel is average 3-6 months when NOT OPENED. When stored in steady 30-40 degree temperature (Example: removing from cold refrigerated to room temperature or store shelf will damage the gel) If the customer leaves on a non-refrigerated shelf and then put back in refrigerator this will also cause damage. Since Seamoss is a perishable item within time there will be mold like any other perishable product. All sea moss gel will eventually expire – as it should. It’s a natural product made from sea matter, which means it will deteriorate over time.

Prior to update- Selective local retailers that received grandfather prices; discounts, credits  refunds and exchanges. This will no longer apply to your accounts. All sales are final.

Tips:

Treat your sea moss gel like you would ANY other perishable food. Take steps to preserve it for a normal length of time, but understand that it will eventually start to show signs of aging and then go bad. Keep track on inventory and placement of items.
